FOTO is a world on Foundation dedicated to showcasing a diverse array of photographic talents. We are photographers curating a collection that represents various artistic expressions and cultural narratives, connecting other photographers with a global audience.
Photographers interested in being featured on FOTO World can submit their work during our two-day monthly submission period. We accept one submission per artist, and the cap is set at 75 submissions per month. Detailed submission guidelines are available on our website.
New work is added to our collection monthly. We onboard 10-20 new photographers each month, ensuring a constant influx of fresh and diverse photographic art.

Lindsey Byrnes is an American photographer and creative director known for her work in the music and entertainment industries.
Through her passion for people and their stories, the Los Angeles-based artist is authentically embedded in pop culture. Her career began shooting her peers in the California skate scene while working for Thrasher Magazine. Through her tenacious drive and natural talent, Byrnes quickly established herself as a sought-after photographer in the music industry, which led her to directing music videos, designing album covers, and going on tour with acts like Paramore, Tegan & Sara, fun and others. She then quickly evolved from music into shooting editorial and advertising campaigns for publications and brands such as Chanel, Harper’s Bazaar, Hard Rock Hotels, and many more. Her art has appeared at Art Basel and is currently being featured at Sotheby’s.
Julie Pacino is a Los Angeles based photographer and filmmaker. In her work, Julie features subjects that exist between binaries and their expected roles. Her photographs and films spark conversations about the interplay between sexuality and power, the communal and the autocratic, and frequently use horror to embody existing power structures.
Brandon Ruffin is a photographer, filmmaker, and writer based in Oakland, California. After falling in love with photography over 15 years ago, he finds himself telling everyday people’s stories most often through the world of portraiture and photojournalism. Brandon has given lectures at academic institutions such as Cal Berkeley, and done instructional workshops inside tech spaces such as Apple, VSCO, and Google. This creative has a passion for working with marginalized groups, and in neighborhoods that are often overlooked. He is also a contributor for publications such as Rolling Stone, New York Times, and the SF Chronicle. Brandon is currently signed to the Los Angeles based art gallery PARISTEXASLA.
Ben Skaar is an extraordinary young talent in the world of photography, making waves in both the NFT space and traditional photography realms. Recognized as the 2020 Youth Travel Photographer of the Year, Ben's work captivates audiences with its stunning aesthetics and profound connection to nature. Ben's passion for photography ignited at age 13, leading him to explore and document the world through his lens. His journey began with a simple point-and-shoot camera and evolved through self-taught techniques and continuous experimentation. His dedication to capturing life's moments evolved into a unique style, known for its emotional depth and storytelling ability. In addition to still photography, Ben has ventured into cinematography with his "Cinema in the Sky" series, showcasing his talents in the NFT space. This series reflects his commitment to transporting viewers into the heart of his experiences, blending the beauty of still imagery with the dynamic narrative of film. Ben is currently expanding his artistic horizon by pursuing a bachelor's degree in Arts, Media, and Technology at NYU in New York City. This new chapter promises to open doors to diverse photographic experiences, from urban street photography to continuing his exploration of natural landscapes. With a keen eye for detail and a heart full of passion, Ben Skaar is not just capturing images; he's telling stories that resonate with viewers across the globe. His journey is a testament to the power of persistence, creativity, and the relentless pursuit of one's dreams.
Tara Workman is a talented nature photographer, born and raised in Barbados, and currently living in the Pacific Northwest of the US. She captures the beauty of the simpler moments of life, celebrating the art of finding wonder in the less obvious. She has a “less is more approach” and a love for abstracts. Her photography invites viewers to pause, ponder, and admire for even just a moment in this fast-paced existence. Tara’s awards include first place for Landscape Photography in the 2022 Minimalist Photography Awards, and Photographer of the Year by Captured Landscapes 2021. PetaPixel showcased Tara as one of the 10 Female Photographers to Watch in 2023.
Michael Yamashita is a Japanese-American photographer known for his work in National Geographic as well as his many iconic photographs, books and exhibitions. Born in 1949 in San Francisco, California, and raised in Montclair, New Jersey. Yamashita graduated from Montclair Academy in 1967. He graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in Asian studies, and after college in 1971, he traveled to Japan to teach English. After joining a photo club to work on his Japanese, he was inspired to pursue photography professionally. After living and shooting throughout Asia for seven years, he returned to the US where he started working for the National Geographic in 1979. Since then, he has traveled and photographed places as diverse as Somalia, Sudan, England, Ireland, and Papua New Guinea, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iran, with special concentration on Asia & the Silk Road, including Japan, China and Tibet. He is also a frequent lecturer, including with TedX, teaches and conducts photo workshops across Asia and the United States. He is a China ambassador for Sony cameras.
