The Groynes of County Down

This is one of those images that I was very fortunate to capture. I had originally travelled to this location to capture a sunset image, but the sky and lack of colour in it, forced me to look for something different. I was drawn to these sea groynes and decided on this black and white composition. The long exposure enabled me to smooth out the sea water rushing through the groynes and allowed me to capture the movement of the clouds in the sky.
