The Lion King

"The Lion King" draws inspiration from my experiences as an artist diving beneath the ocean's surface. The lionfish, with its striking beauty, embodies a regal presence, yet its name reflects a voracious and unchallenged nature, as it faces few predators in the sea. Sadly, its northward migration and insatiable appetite have transformed it into an invasive species, threatening marine ecosystems by devouring everything within its reach and wreaking havoc on our coral reefs. This piece is part of my "Depths of Discovery" collection, which aims to showcase the incredible and often overlooked wonders I’ve encountered in the deep sea, raising awareness about the delicate balance of life beneath the waves.
