I shot this in 2019 while sailing on a traditional dhow in the Indian ocean off the Tanzanian coast. The entire trip lasted a month and it was my first time living on a boat for such a length. I often found myself in silence and in a meditative state where my thoughts didn't seem to matter anymore. They just rose, fell, crashed into each other and drifted away just like the ocean waves that i was sleeping on.
