Golden Glide

This moment happened at sunset and it could not have been more perfect. I had been watching this bird jumping from branch to branch for about 20 minutes, waiting to see if maybe it would catch an insect or fly away. I could see the shot i wanted in my mind but i was getting impatient because it had been a very long day of shooting, i was tired and time was running out because you have to exit the national park at 6:30pm. What a marvelous moment when the bird finally took off!
