April Surac is an award-winning interdisciplinary artist, photographer, and filmmaker based in the United States. She runs Surac Studios, a creative studio focusing on visual storytelling and multimedia production, where she combines traditional craftsmanship and technology to create installations, products, and experiences integrating engineering and art. One of her main projects, NeuraSensa, is a nonprofit initiative that merges art and neurotechnology, using textile-based designs, woodworking, and sensory-focused solutions to create accessible and therapeutic experiences for neurodiverse individuals, including those with autism, sensory processing disorders, and Alzheimer’s. Her work has earned awards from Scholastic Art & Writing, Sony World Photography, and SOBO Art Gallery and has been featured in local and international exhibitions.
